This Claims Attorney supports class action and mass tort matters within a specialized legal team. You will review claims, evidence, and legal documentation. The work includes evaluating requirements, identifying issues, and communicating clearly with claimants and legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze claims, legal documents, and supporting evidence
- Apply criteria to determine whether claims satisfy requirements
- Identify missing, inconsistent, or insufficient information
- Prepare correspondence for claimants and legal counsel
- Handle complex inquiries by phone and in writing
Requirements:
- JD or law degree from an accredited institution
- Active licence in good standing in Canada
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
- Solid legal research, analysis, and writing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
