We are currently looking to connect with a technically strong, entrepreneurial developer interested in exploring a long-term founding technical partnership.

The OpportunityWe're seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong backend engineering capabilities who can help shape the technical foundations of Nokturnal.io. You'll work directly with our CTO & CEO, who leads product vision, business development, customer relationships, and frontend direction. Your focus would be backend architecture, systems development, API integrations, databases, infrastructure, and helping bring software products from development into production.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to contribute beyond writing code and potentially help build a technology business from an early stage.

Areas of Responsibility

- Design and develop secure, scalable backend applications.
- Build and maintain APIs and business integrations.
- Develop databases, authentication, and server-side functionality.
- Support full-stack application development.
- Work with React/Next.js frontend applications.
- Build AI-enabled workflows and automation systems.




- Review and improve existing application architecture.
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues.
- Manage development workflows, testing, and deployment readiness.
- Help establish technical standards and development priorities.
- Contribute to product planning, technical strategy, and commercialization.

Ideal Technical ExperienceExperience with several of the following would be valuable:
- Python, FastAPI, Node.js, or TypeScript.
- React and Next.js.
- PostgreSQL and relational databases.
- REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- AI/LLM APIs and agent-based systems.
- Docker, Git, and cloud or self-hosted infrastructure.
- Authentication, application security, and deployment pipelines.
- SaaS product development.

You do not need to know every technology listed. We're more interested in strong problem-solving, practical engineering judgment, accountability, and the ability to deliver working software. Who We're Looking ForSomeone who:

Compensation & Partnership StructureImportant transparency:



Nokturnal.io cannot currently offer a guaranteed salary for this proposed founding-partner opportunity. We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who would consider a genuine entrepreneurial partnership, potentially involving negotiated equity or ownership participation.

No equity percentage, salary, deferred wages, revenue share, or employment arrangement is currently guaranteed. Any partnership would be subject to mutual agreement, appropriate legal documentation, and compliance with applicable employment and business laws. We will not request unpaid trial assignments or productive employment work as part of the recruitment process.

If a candidate prefers a conventional paid developer position, we would be happy to consider future discussions when a funded role becomes available.
