This hands-on Yard Coordinator position supports branch operations through equipment inspections, staging, cleaning, and safe yard organization. You will work with drivers, mechanics, rental coordinators, and other branch team members. The role also involves learning construction equipment and the equipment rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect returned equipment and report visible damage or maintenance concerns
- Stage, organize, and move equipment for rentals and deliveries
- Wash, dry, and detail equipment using cleaning tools
- Assist drivers with safely loading and unloading equipment
- Maintain a clean,
secure, organized yard and wash bay
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift approximately 50 pounds
- Forklift or construction equipment operating experience is an asset
- Computer comfort for inspections and equipment information updates
- Availability and willingness to work overtime when required
