Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a temporary Health Care Aide for its Nursing department. The in-person position supports residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living according to care plans, established standards, and legislative requirements. This work requires organization, communication, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living
- Follow care plans and established standards of practice
- Work under Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse direction




- Determine work priorities and methods using independent judgment
- Maintain competency through education and certifications

Requirements:

- Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
- One to two years’ health care experience preferred
- Ability to organize workload and communicate effectively
