The Camp

Founded in 1947 Kandalore offers an un-matched camp experience for children 6 – 16, providing the best of both canoe-tripping and camp activities. The camp prides itself on its warm and supportive community where children are made to feel included in the camp culture. The supportive nature of the camp allows for the campers to try current activities and develop new skills with the help of caring staff members.

CampKandalore is looking for a positive and enthusiastic RN or RPN to fill the roleof Nurse on our Healthcare Team.

The successfulapplicant will provide friendly, patient focused health care and beresponsible, well-organized, team oriented and able to cope with a busy clinicatmosphere.





Our nursingstaff look after all the various health needs of our campers and staff. Dutiesinclude tending to injuries, running daily clinics, administering medication, preparing canoe trip medical kits and educating campers and staff on their physical and mental health andwellness.

Thisposition includes a competitive salary, room and board, clinical experience,and a fantastic summer at camp. A physician will be on-site for the duration ofthe summer contract.

MinimumQualifications

-

- Registered Nurse (RN) orRegistered Practical Nurse (RPN) Qualification

- Experience working withchildren and youth, preferably in a camp setting

- CPR-C and Intermediate first aid (or BLS).Other qualifications (swim, AED, etc.) an asset

- Experience working in a team

- Hardworking, adaptable andenthusiastic
