Lead play-based learning as a Program Educator with Compass Early Learning and Care in Bethany, Ontario, supporting children through active supervision.

This one-year contract serves the Rolling Hills Program at Compass ELC. The position requires planning interest-based activities, documenting learning, and creating safe environments. You will support children’s routines while building relationships with families, coworkers, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead interest-based, play-based activities
- Maintain active supervision while engaging in play
- Document children’s learning through observation and reflection
- Support diapering, dressing, and eating habits
- Collaborate with families, coworkers, and community partners

Requirements:

- One to three years’ experience with children and youth
- Familiarity with Child Care Early Years Act requirements
- Transparent Vulnerable Sector Check and updated immunization records
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- High School Diploma or GED; minimum age eighteen
