In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and supporting Phase II ESA activities.
The Junior Environmental Scientist plays a critical role in supporting in the execution of remediation and reclamation programs. We are looking for an environmental scientist eager to build a strong foundation across the full lifecycle of oil and gas site monitoring, assessment, remediation, and reclamation.
Our ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, combined with keen attention to detail and a deep sense of accountability, making them a valuable team player who can also thrive independently. This position will initially be 100% office based, with a staged introduction to fieldwork following the first year.



Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and associated reporting.
Commit to maintaining a secure and healthy work environment by adhering to established health, safety, and quality standards.
Actively participate in safety initiatives, report potential hazards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. Undergraduate degree or diploma in science or land reclamation.
Registration with an Alberta professional association considered an asset.
Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills.
