Bring peri-operative nursing expertise to Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Ontario, providing direct patient care through clinical judgment and technical skill.

This permanent part-time Registered Nurse position supports Operating Room care at GBGH. The RN works collaboratively within the healthcare team, applying theoretical knowledge, OR experience, and critical thinking in the peri-operative setting. Care follows the College of Nurses of Ontario’s three-factor framework.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room
- Apply peri-operative theoretical knowledge and technical skills
- Use the three-factor framework in care decisions
- Consult and collaborate with healthcare providers




- Support positive patient outcomes through problem solving

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
- Current B.C.L.S., ACLS, and PALS certifications
- OR certification and current Operating Room experience
- Excellent clinical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency with IV starts and phlebotomy

Use Operating Room experience, peri-operative knowledge, and team-oriented nursing judgment to deliver direct care at GBGH.
