Manage liability claims for HUB International using coverage analysis, investigations, and settlement negotiation within delegated authority limits. No travel is required for this position.

Reporting to the Claims Manager, the Claims Technician, Liability manages a personal portfolio from first notice through resolution. The work requires claims process knowledge, coverage interpretation, investigation techniques, and accurate financial controls. You will support insurers, carriers, and clients through thorough, timely outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage liability claims files from notice through resolution
- Engage adjusters and assess coverage, damages, and investigations
- Set reserves and negotiate settlements within authority limits
- Reconcile loss funds, payments,



and general ledgers
- Maintain compliant files and prepare carrier reports

Requirements:

- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Minimum five years liability claims handling experience
- Working knowledge of coverage interpretation and investigations
- CIP designation or active pursuit preferred
- Microsoft Office and Epic proficiency; Lloyd’s Lineage familiarity an asset
