This full time Field Heavy Equipment Technician serves Brandt’s Construction & Forestry location in Thunder Bay. The position focuses on construction and forestry equipment, attachments, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and service documentation. It also includes parts ordering, equipment road testing, and attachment checks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, diagnose, assemble, disassemble, and repair heavy equipment
- Order parts using catalogues and parts personnel
- Document machine information, actions, and time on work orders
- Use tools, instruments, computer systems, and secondary equipment




- Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required

Requirements:

- Heavy equipment mechanical experience preferred
- Journeyperson certification or equivalent designated trade preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and service personnel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to customer service and service excellence
