Build electrical engineering experience in Calgary through AutoCAD Electrical, control panels, and industrial automation projects. Choose a 12 or 16 month term starting January 2027.
Spartan is recruiting co-op and intern students for its Operations Systems, Software & Solutions teams. You will rotate through CAD design and electrical specialist responsibilities across project workflows. The internship develops practical understanding of electrical hardware, drawing standards, engineering processes, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
- Support panel, wiring, instrumentation, and P&ID; designs
- Review drawings under guidance from senior engineers
- Perform basic heat and power load calculations
- Provide technical assistance to project and manufacturing teams
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering program
- Electrical Engineering enrollment preferred
- Participation in a post-secondary co-op or internship program preferred
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Robust communication, time management, and technical learning skills
