Coordinate resident care as a part time Registered Nurse with Extendicare, using clinical judgment, medication administration, and robust communication skills.

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness or Director of Care, you will provide direct resident care and document services. The position includes care planning, coordination, delegation, emergency response, and collaboration with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams. Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete resident assessments, service plans, and required documentation
- Administer medications and safely order controlled drugs
- Coordinate care assignments, conferences, transfers, and move-ins
- Manage significant condition changes and medical emergencies




- Supervise and delegate care to unregulated care providers

Requirements:

- Current Registered Nurse registration in the applicable province or state
- Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers
- Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
- Computer and Microsoft Office application skills
- Current Vulnerable Position or Sector Screening within six months

Support Extendicare residents through coordinated nursing care, medication administration, documentation, delegation, and responsive clinical leadership.
