As a Temporary Laboratory Assistant, you will support the QA Technician and QA Manager in maintaining product quality and consistency. Your work includes sample preparation, chemical measurements, microbiological analysis, and laboratory operations. The position requires a secondary school diploma or equivalent, while biology and chemistry courses are assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare beer and RTD samples
- Measure Plato, density, pH, alcohol, and TPO
- Assist with microbiological analysis and aseptic sampling
- Pour agar plates and prepare incubation broth
- Report quality issues to the QA Manager
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent required
- Laboratory experience considered an asset
- Food or beverage industry experience considered an asset
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Required safety procedures and personal protective equipment
