Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT, supporting specialty medicine in Oakville, Ontario, with clinical procedures and patient care expertise. This is a full-time position.

Mississauga-Oakville Emergency & Specialty Hospital welcomes an RVT or eligible registrant to its Specialty department. You will work with Specialty RVTs, ACAs, and board-certified specialists in Surgery, Oncology, and Anesthesiology. Training is provided on current surgical and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform venipuncture and catheter placement
- Complete radiology and in-house laboratory work
- Assess patients and monitor anesthesia
- Prepare for surgery, assist, and support recovery
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient files

Requirements:

- Veterinary Technician Diploma
- Registered Veterinary Technician status or eligibility to register
- Ability to work confidently independently and collaboratively
- Solid organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service with pets and pet parents
