Support supervised child visits at Durham Supervised Access in Ajax through observation, factual documentation, and child-focused communication. This is a part-time position.

The DSAP Assistant supports the DSAP Specialist or Facilitator while serving families experiencing child-access difficulties after separation or divorce. You will help deliver supervised visits and exchanges, support Agreement for Service compliance, and promote safe program delivery. The role includes collaboration with staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support supervised visits and exchanges in a safe setting
- Observe children’s interactions with visiting parents or relatives
- Support smooth transitions between parents




- Complete factual observation notes for assigned visits
- Facilitate virtual visits through Microsoft Teams when required

Requirements:

- Minimum one year related work or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of separation and divorce effects on families
- Robust written communication for accurate reports
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Flexibility for evening and weekend hours
