Do you have experience in machining or operating CNC machines and enjoy tackling technical challenges? We are looking for a CNC operator to join our production team for evening shift. The successful candidate will play a key role in cutting steel plates used in the manufacture of our container chassis.
In addition to ensuring the proper functioning of the machine, you will be responsible for preparing work, interpreting technical drawings, adjusting parameters and controlling the quality of the parts produced. You will work in a stimulating manufacturing setting where precision, autonomy, safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of operations.
- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP)
in a relevant field and/or possess relevant experience related to the position.
- Have experience in operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
- To be able to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Understanding G and M codes.
- To be able to read and modify a machine program.
- Mastering the use and interpretation of measuring instruments.
- Being able to handle steel plates, parts and scraps safely.
- Pass the theoretical and practical assessments.
- Hold a training and certification as a slinger.
