Build mechanical engineering design experience at Introba in Toronto through computer modeling, engineering drawings, and hands-on building projects during Summer 2027.
This intern position supports diverse building engineering projects within Introba’s cooperative Toronto office. You will develop familiarity with engineering plans, quantity take-offs, scheduling, and progress reporting. Work includes assisting senior engineers with drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and proper codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with engineering plans and details
- Perform quantity take-offs for building projects
- Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
- Support computer modeling and progress reports
- Produce drawings, calculations,
and cost estimates under supervision
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
- Enrollment at an accredited university program
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering software
- Exposure to AutoCAD or Revit software
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
