This lumberyard role supports customers needing lumber and building materials. You will provide advice, assist with loading, verify invoices, and maintain organized stock. Daily work also includes truck unloading, lumber culling, cleaning, price labelling, and pallet upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on lumber and building material needs
- Load products safely and efficiently for customers
- Check invoices and verify products before release
- Unload trucks and cull lumber in the department
- Maintain organized, clean, and safely labelled stock
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Knowledge of building materials is an asset
- Ability to maintain a safe work setting
- Willingness to complete opening and closing yard duties
