Coordinate theatre, music, dance, and arts events as an Assistant Festival Producer in Edmonton, supporting the Thousand Faces Festival.

Work with the Festival Producer, Artistic Director, General Manager, and production staff to implement the 2022 festival. This eight-week position supports operations, productions, broadcasts, volunteers, health and safety, vendors, finances, personnel, and marketing materials. Previous event or volunteer management experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Festival Producer with festival operations
- Help oversee productions, events, and broadcasts
- Recruit and manage festival volunteers
- Coordinate health and safety planning and implementation
- Liaise with artists, technicians, volunteers, and contractors

Requirements:

- Previous event or volunteer management experience
- Valuable writing and numerical skills
- Team building and supervision experience
- Good communication skills and out-of-the-box thinking
- Availability in September and October is an asset
