Safely handle firearms while delivering legendary customer service as a part time Gun Counter Outfitter in Calgary (Rocky View), Alberta.
Reporting to the Hardlines Group Sales Manager, you will assist customers with firearm and scope purchases. The position requires knowledge of makes, models, hunting, and related outdoor activities. You will evaluate needs, recommend products, promote Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s programs, and maintain presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and support informed buying decisions
- Recommend firearms and scopes based on customer needs
- Promote in-store surveys and In-Store Pick-Up
- Recover merchandise, restock, dust, and vacuum sales areas
- Resolve customer issues using sound judgment and logic
Requirements:
- Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License required
- Ability to safely handle firearms and follow regulations
- One or more years in sales or service preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s products is an asset
