Monitor pool safety at Mississauga Heartland Town Centre as a part time Lifeguard using emergency response and surveillance skills.

The Lifeguard protects members and guests in the pool, whirlpool, and pool deck. This position monitors Aqua Group Fitness classes and Family Swim. It also responds to emergencies, provides required emergency care, and supports secure facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain constant surveillance of pool and whirlpool users
- Monitor Aqua Group Fitness and Family Swim classes
- Respond appropriately to pool and deck emergencies
- Enforce pool rules fairly and explain their rationale
- Complete cleaning, water testing, and required paperwork

Requirements:

- Six months to one year of related experience
- Current National Lifeguard Service Lifeguard Certificate
- Current CPR-C certification included with required certificate
- Basic understanding of pool operation and water chemistry
- Calm emergency response and customer-focused interpersonal skills
