This Deli Associate position supports customer orders, merchandise preparation, and daily deli presentation. You will use slicers, stackers, utensils, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers as required. The role also includes product rotation, temperature recording, and compliance with food handling policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take orders for deli merchandise and provide requested assistance
- Prepare meats, cheeses, fried chicken, salads, and side dishes
- Use slicers, stackers, utensils, ovens, and fryers
- Check sell-by dates and rotate deli products
- Fill displays and specialty orders as required
Requirements:
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Follow standards for food handling and product rotation
- Record temperatures and complete thermometer calibrations
- Maintain cold chain compliance across deli activities
- Keep displays clean, neat, and properly organized
