Receive and inspect incoming materials, organize stock for production, and safely move finished fence panels, gates, and kits using a forklift. Load trucks according to route sequence and vehicle weight limits, verify shipments against dispatch records, and handle products carefully to prevent damage. Report shortages or damaged materials promptly.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification.
- Minimum 2 years of yard, warehouse, or loading experience.
- Ability to read load plans and delivery route sequences.
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors year-round.
- Strong safety awareness around moving equipment.
- Reliable attendance on a fixed day shift.
Assets: Experience creating load plans, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or a Class 5 driver's licence. Interest in progressing to a driving role is an advantage.
Work Conditions: Outdoor yard workplace with regular material handling and forklift operation.
