This Health Care Aide position serves patients in a nursing home or home for the aged. The work includes personal care, patient transfers, meal assistance, room maintenance, and responding to call signals. Candidates need a Health Care Aide Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate. The position requires English, one to two years of experience, and a one- to two-year college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathe, dress, groom, weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
- Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Serve meal trays and feed patients
- Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or between facilities
- Answer call signals and determine patients' needs

Requirements:

- Health Care Aide Certificate
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
- One year to less than two years' experience
- English language ability
- Criminal record check
