Monitor BCMS operations at Misericordia Community Hosp as a Third Class Power Engineer supporting a power plant up to 10000 kW. Casual relief shifts vary.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance and Engineering, you will inspect building equipment and mechanical systems. The position supports planned and demand maintenance across FM&E; infrastructure. Work follows Alberta Health Services and Alberta Boiler Safety Association standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and test the Building Control Management System
- Perform repairs and inspections on building equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance across supported infrastructure
- Provide maintenance repairs across technical disciplines
- Monitor systems serving the power plant

Requirements:

- Third Class Power Engineer Certificate required
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office computer literacy required
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Two years of power engineering experience preferred
