This permanent Theatre Technician position works under the Production Manager and Technical Director. The successful candidate supports technical theatre operations across performance venues, including proscenium and black box spaces. Theatre operations, facility rentals, community theatre, and safety procedures are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate technical services for Theatre and Arts Centre venues
- Set up performance venues before scheduled productions
- Strike venues after performances and events




- Work across proscenium and black box spaces
- Support operations throughout college locations as required

Requirements:

- Technical Theatre Diploma from an accredited institution
- Minimum one year of Technical Theatre experience
- Understanding of theatre operations and facility rentals
- Standard First Aid and valid Class 5 driver's license
- Live sound reinforcement strength considered an asset
