Trickster Theatre seeks a highly organized, hands-on Production Assistant for its summer overhaul and preparation period. The work combines technical theatre, backstage operations, inventory systems, costume and prop management, puppet care, digital updates, and production documentation. This position supports touring rigs, storage systems, training resources, and educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, test, repair, and organize lighting, sound, video, and staging equipment
- Assist digital upgrades for computers, software, and audio libraries
- Inventory, clean, repair, and organize costumes, props, and puppets




- Update procedural manuals and training materials for staff and educators
- Organize touring rigs, storage systems, and production inventories

Requirements:

- Experience or interest in technical theatre production or backstage operations
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort handling equipment, inventory systems, and physical tasks
- Google Workspace experience considered an asset
