Support stage management for The Canadian Badlands Passion Play in Drumheller, coordinating rehearsals, cues, props, and backstage operations outdoors. Work with professional and semi-skilled theatre teams.

Badlands Amphitheatre seeks Assistant Stage Managers for its 2024 production. You will assist the Head Stage Manager, support directing, communicate across departments, and run performances. Duties may focus on props, wardrobe, crowd, animals, or fights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend rehearsals and document blocking, notes, cues, and performer needs
- Call assigned cues and communicate information across departments
- Manage paperwork tracking rehearsal and performance information
- Prepare, operate, and strike the outdoor amphitheatre




- Support assigned props, wardrobe, crowd, animals, or fight responsibilities

Requirements:

- Previous theatre experience is required
- Previous stage management experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage deadlines
- Ability to work outdoors and move items up to 25 pounds
