Support diverse clients through harm reduction nursing, mental health care, and addiction services at Haven Toronto overnight. This position is part-time.

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide client-centred care within Haven Toronto’s Hospital Overflow Program. Clients receive secure overnight rest, basic support, and monitoring after emergency department redirection. The work includes therapeutic relationships, clinical assessment, nursing care, and care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish therapeutic relationships with diverse client populations
- Support clients with mental health and substance use concerns
- Address wounds, foot care, diabetes, and common concerns
- Support STOP smoking cessation program participants
- Provide Naloxone training to colleagues

Requirements:

- Registered Practical Nurse license from an accredited program
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Understanding of alcohol and opioid use disorders
- Experience with wound care and foot care
- Harm reduction and trauma-informed service values
