Support resident comfort through housekeeping and laundry as a part-time Environmental Service Worker with S&R; Group. Help maintain clean, safe surroundings.

This Environmental Service Worker role supports Long Term Care residents and their families. You will wash clothing and linens, disinfect spaces, clean rooms, and maintain common areas. The work includes following WHMIS guidelines, safe handling procedures, and Health & Safety Standards. Experience in housekeeping and laundry is required, with healthcare or hospitality experience considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash and dry residents’ clothing and linens
- Disinfect and clean areas supporting infection control
- Clean rooms and common areas thoroughly




- Follow WHMIS and protected handling procedures
- Assist coworkers and cover shifts when needed

Requirements:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Housekeeping and laundry experience
- Ability to operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment
- Vulnerable Sector Screening completed within six months
- TB 2 Step updated within the last year
