Run automated packaging lines with accuracy, troubleshooting, and quality control. Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Guelph’s food manufacturing workplace.
This full-time Packaging Operator position focuses on machine setup, production specifications, and in-process inspections. You will adjust stops, guides, and material feeds, monitor mechanical performance, and support uninterrupted packaging flow. The work follows GMP, SQF, workplace safety, and sanitary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret production specifications and configure machine components
- Operate lines according to established speeds and rules
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical adjustments
- Assist with stacking, carton marking, packing, and transport
- Complete scheduled sanitation procedures and material handling tasks
Requirements:
- One to two years relevant machinery or warehouse experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent credential
- Demonstrated ability to calculate units, fractions, and decimals
- Commitment to required PPE and hygiene protocols
- Strict adherence to GMP, SQF, and safety standards
