Work onsite as a Vegetable Farm Labourer using hand harvesting and produce sorting skills in a rural, outdoor setting. Training is provided for candidates without experience.
This General Labourer position supports organic farming and vegetable production at a remote rural location. Tasks include harvesting, grading, packing, weeding, and greenhouse cleaning. You will work with vegetables and melons, including asparagus, carrots, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and microgreens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand harvest vegetables, seedlings, and crops
- Grade, sort, and pack fruits and vegetables
- Clean greenhouses and assigned work areas
- Examine produce quality and market readiness
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- No experience required; training will be provided
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle more than 45 kilograms
- Steel-toed safety boots required
