The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and external partners, including the Global Tooling Department, to ensure regional tooling requirements are consistently met.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, and expertise in materials management and/or logistics.

Exceptional communication abilities and a proven track record of effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders are essential for success in this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Ensure full compliance with the tooling and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements outlined in the Turbine Supply Agreements (TSA), including the timely preparation and submission of tooling lists.
- Establish and manage inspection, calibration, and certification schedules for all tools to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee monthly PPE inspections to verify adherence to in-service dates, company-defined service life, and the timely replacement of damaged equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking expiration dates for all calibrated tools and equipment.
- Support Long-Term Maintenance (LTM) schedules for components stored at port facilities (safe harbor) and those received for new projects, including oil sampling and associated documentation.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing team to secure necessary resources and supplier support for LTM activities.

- Coordinate tooling logistics in partnership with the internal Logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the required equipment.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including the Global Tooling Department and regional leadership, to align tooling and resource planning with project requirements.
- Support the Sourcing team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding local tooling vendors to meet regional needs.
- Manage requisition processes and ensure the successful execution of purchase orders, coordinating with procurement, logistics, and receiving teams to fulfill departmental requirements.
- Evaluate new tooling requirements and coordinate procurement based on updates to installation and commissioning manuals, as well as cost optimization initiatives.
- Conduct cost analyses related to tooling, including current inventory, current acquisitions, and losses.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with tooling availability and project planning.
- Monitor construction and assembly schedules to ensure tooling readiness aligns with project milestones.
- Serve as a primary liaison within the Projects team, maintaining effective communication across all functions within the Project Management (PM) community, including Project Managers, Operations, Back Office, and support teams.
- Collaborate with new hires, field technicians, and all personnel operating company vehicles to ensure the provision of appropriate safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, ice scrapers, and other project-specific safety tools required for compliance and operational readiness.
