This full-time Welder/Fitter position suits candidates with at least five years of North American welding and fitting experience. You will handle production welding, custom fabrication, and prototype builds across diverse trailer and heavy-equipment projects. The work includes drawing interpretation, precision assembly, problem-solving, and collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches
- Fit, assemble, and weld aluminum and steel components
- Build custom parts, test assemblies, and prototypes
- Operate saws, torches, grinders, hoists,
and welding machines
- Inspect welds and maintain safe work areas
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of North American welding and fitting experience
- Proficiency welding aluminum and steel
- Welding apprenticeship or equivalent trade certification
- Ability to read drawings and check tolerances
