This Logistics Coordinator role supports a growing logistics team within an established food industry company. You will coordinate shipments, manage customs documentation, renew permits, and monitor temperature during transit. The work requires confident negotiation, real-time problem solving, and accurate communication with Sales and Production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound shipments from South America to Canada
- Prepare and manage customs documentation for border clearance
- Renew import and export permits as required
- Monitor shipment temperatures and address transit issues
- Provide accurate ETAs to Sales and Production
Requirements:
- Fluent written and spoken French and English
- Two or more years in logistics or transportation
- Knowledge of customs documentation and cross-border processes
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
