Interior Health offers a permanent part time Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity at Deni House, scheduled at 0.84. Rotating day and evening shifts run from 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00. The position supports 19 permanent clients and nine short-stay beds for respite, convalescent, and palliative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal and nursing care to clients
- Assess clients and plan individualized care
- Implement care with the multidisciplinary team
- Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications
- Apply applicable pharmaceutical and organizational procedures
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse qualification
- Previous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Ability to follow BCCNM standards of practice
- Ability to follow unit-specific protocols
