Reporting to the Chief Governance Officer, this coordinator provides strategic leadership and operational oversight within the University’s bi-cameral governance system. The work supports appeals, meetings, elections, membership, compliance, and policy development. The position also guides senior leadership, faculty, staff, and students on academic policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee Senate and University Council meetings
Manage governance membership and election processes
Coordinate academic appeals processes
Maintain compliance with academic policies
Develop governance policies and provide strategic guidance
Requirements: Expertise navigating academic governance processes
Experience building relationships across a university community
Knowledge of bi-cameral governance systems
Ability to advise on academic policy and procedures
