As Manager, Events, you will identify opportunities for sporting events, entertainment, festivals, conferences, and celebrations. You will prepare proposals, develop partnerships, and coordinate delivery with organizers, promoters, tourism partners, and community organizations. Relevant experience in event planning, event management, sport tourism, entertainment, or related work is required.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue recent events for Summerside
Develop hosting bids, proposals, and presentations
Build relationships with organizers, promoters, and sponsors




Support sponsorship development and funding applications
Represent the City at industry meetings and conferences
Requirements: Three to five years of relevant experience
Education in events, sport, tourism, business, or related field
Experience working with multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Event attraction or sponsorship experience is an asset
