This Lead Reservoir Modeler position suits a professional with at least eight years in upstream oil and gas. You will integrate geological, petrophysical, and engineering data while developing predictive subsurface models. The work also involves reservoir simulation concepts, uncertainty analysis, and collaboration with geoscientists and engineers globally.
Key Responsibilities: Lead construction and validation of detailed 3 D reservoir models
Integrate geological, petrophysical, and engineering datasets
Perform uncertainty analysis and parameter sensitivity studies
Develop simulation grids for dynamic reservoir simulation




Mentor junior reservoir modelers and communicate modeling insights
Requirements: Master's degree or Ph D in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering
At least eight years in upstream reservoir modeling
Experience with Petrel, RMS, and petrophysical analysis tools
Familiarity with ECLIPSE or INTERSECT simulation software
Valid work from home authorization within South Africa
