As a developing Business Analyst, you will work with investment and technology professionals on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Your work will support initiatives involving trade capture, settlement, collateral, valuation, positions, cash, and risk. The role connects investment management knowledge with business processes, data, and technology. You will contribute to defined initiative components with limited oversight while developing product and technology understanding.
Key Responsibilities: Support technology solutions across the investment lifecycle
Collaborate with investment, risk, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders
Translate user needs into requirements,



specifications, and user stories
Support design, testing, implementation, and deployment activities
Investigate trade, position, valuation, data, and process issues
Requirements: Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience
Two to three or more years as a Business Analyst
Capital markets or investment management experience supporting IT solutions
Knowledge of products and the trade lifecycle
Experience documenting requirements, stories, criteria, or specifications
Bring analytical problem-solving and capital markets knowledge to support AIMCo’s investment technology delivery and stakeholder alignment.
