About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding real estate investment firm with a strong focus on value-add strategies, is seeking an ambitious and analytical Real Estate Investment Associate to join their team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role provides a fantastic chance for a driven individual to contribute to all phases of the investment process, including market research, deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, and asset management. You will work closely with senior investment professionals to identify and execute profitable real estate opportunities across various property types. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of real estate fundamentals, and the ability to critically evaluate investment prospects. This position is well-suited for a motivated professional looking to grow their career in real estate investment within a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will gain invaluable experience in deal-making and portfolio management in the growing Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and market trends.
- Assist in the sourcing and screening of potential real estate deals, building relationships with brokers and owners.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for investment opportunities, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Support the due diligence process, including reviewing property financials, legal documents, and market data.
- Prepare investment committee memos,



presentations, and reports.
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring and reporting of existing portfolio assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (brokers, lenders, legal counsel) throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Support the underwriting and closing process for acquisitions and dispositions.
- Contribute to the development of asset management strategies for acquired properties.

Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, finance, or a closely related field.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques using Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of real estate principles and investment strategies.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with real estate databases and market research tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
