This senior contract role supports a growing fleet of satellites through software development and maintenance. You will influence design and operation while building reliable systems. The work includes secure communications, low-level components, automated testing, and architecture collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Develop embedded software for spacecraft and ground-based systems
Implement encryption, authentication, and key exchange capabilities
Build device drivers, kernel modules, and hardware interfaces
Create automated tests, validation tools, and technical documentation
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
Requirements: Six or more years developing embedded software for reliable systems
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in C/C++ embedded concurrency and hardware communication
Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, Yocto, or Free RTOS
Experience with Git workflows and code reviews
