Lead childcare operations at Summit Start Cityscape in Calgary using staff supervision, scheduling, and licensing knowledge across all shifts.

As Assistant Director, you will support a 24-hour childcare program and help maintain consistent standards. The position requires hands-on leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. You will coordinate with the Director and staff to support continuity of care across day, evening, overnight, and weekend operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily childcare operations across continuous centre operations
- Supervise, coach, and mentor staff across all shifts
- Monitor child supervision, health, safety, and program quality
- Support scheduling, shift coverage, and staffing levels
- Document incidents,

Requirements:

- Two to three years of childcare leadership experience
- Knowledge of Alberta childcare licensing requirements
- Solid leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C
