As Payroll Manager, you will oversee payroll leadership, governance, reporting, and controls across a complex construction environment. The position partners with Human Resources, Operations, Finance, IT, and external advisors. Responsibilities include Canadian payroll legislation, U. S. payroll taxation, internal controls, reconciliations, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and support the payroll team
Oversee hourly, salaried, contractor, union, and U. S. payrolls
Maintain Canadian and U. S. payroll compliance
Coordinate audits, tax reviews, and statutory reporting




Improve payroll processes, controls, systems, and documentation
Requirements: Payroll Compliance Skilled designation required
Payroll Leadership Professional designation preferred
10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership
Experience managing multi-company or multi-jurisdiction payroll
Advanced Excel and ERP or payroll systems experience
