Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual on call Reserves Division team, working in Mission.

Availability: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1530

- Shifts will vary in times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.
- Pay rate: will vary per site

Your Must-Haves:

- BC Security License
- Hold OFA 1
- Lived in Canada for 5+ yearsfor clearance purposes
- Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
- Excellent communication skills

Some of your responsibilities include:

- Escort individualsto and fromUncontrolled Areas
- Prior to entering the Restricted Area and/or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list
- Notify thecorrect partieswhen entering the facility and when leaving




- Ensure that Visual Contact is maintained while escortingconstruction workersusing Temporary Passes
- Patrolling various sites/locations
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
- CCTV Monitoring
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
