Lead Software Engineering at Aviso with Dev Sec Ops, Azure, and coaching expertise. This 12-month temporary prospect supports the Technology Team.
Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, the Manager leads Team Leaders, Front-End, Full-Stack, and Cloud Engineers. You will own engineering processes and the roadmap while removing delivery bottlenecks. The position embeds governance, standardization, and code quality gates across the function.
Key Responsibilities: Coach engineering teams through continuous learning and problem-solving
Coordinate complex cross-team initiatives, risks, and delivery solutions
Align roadmaps with Enterprise Architecture and organizational goals
Apply software standards, architecture, and security policies




Use flow metrics to recommend process improvements
Requirements: Seven to ten years leading software delivery
Degree or relevant software development work experience
Understanding of secure coding and Dev Sec Ops practices
Experience with Azure, Docker, and microservices architectures
Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
Bring engineering leadership, Dev Sec Ops knowledge, Azure experience, and coaching skills to Aviso’s software engineering organization.
