As a Transmission Lines Engineer, you will support electric utility projects involving overhead lines and associated facilities from 60k V to 500k V. The hybrid role requires two office days weekly and can be based anywhere in Canada. Your work includes structural design, foundations, drawings, documentation, project controls, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities: Design high-voltage overhead lines and associated facilities
Design wood, steel, and lattice transmission structures
Design transmission line structure foundations
Prepare hardware assembly drawings and project documentation
Lead projects and support junior engineers
Requirements: Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Minimum five years of transmission project experience
Professional engineering registration in Canada
Proficiency with design software, CAD systems, and drawing standards
English communication and MS Office proficiency
