As Senior Manager, Income Tax, you will oversee reporting and compliance for Alta Gas' global group. The work includes ASC 740 provision, Canadian T2 returns, staff leadership, and communication with business and finance teams. You will engage tax authorities, advisors, auditors, and industry peers.
Key Responsibilities: Manage consolidated income tax provision under US GAAP ASC 740
Own Canadian corporate income tax returns and compliance schedules
Supervise staff, assign work, and review deliverables
Lead development, training, onboarding, and performance management
Support CRA queries, controversy, and foreign affiliate reporting
Requirements: Canadian CPA and degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
Eight to twelve years of progressive Canadian tax experience
Three or more years directly supervising staff
Completed CPA In-depth Tax Course
Tax compliance software, advanced Excel, and data skills
