Use insulation and drywall installation skills to support Empire Envelope projects, with primarily in office work in Edmonton’s new homes.
As a Drywall Technician, you will help complete IPD installations and repairs while maintaining quality, safety, cleanliness, and accurate records. You will coordinate with Site Supervisors and team members, answer site questions, and provide feedback about work quality or issues. Occasional overtime may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete insulation and drywall installation and repairs
- Uphold Empire Envelope quality and safety standards
- Coordinate tasks with supervisors, teams, and divisions
- Complete hazard assessments and wear proper PPE
- Report vehicle concerns and maintain weekly inspections
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- One or more years of relevant construction experience
- Blueprint reading and interpretation ability
- Physical ability to kneel, crouch, and handle 50 pounds
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and office equipment
