About the Role Parsyl’s parent company is based in the US, with UK subsidiaries, and owns a US MGA and a Lloyd’s syndicate. Our finance team is currently four-robust and growing as Parsyl expands, including adding new lines of business. As Controller, you’ll own the US accounting function day to day: running the month-end close, building scalable accounting processes, owning controls, audit, and tax oversight, and supporting the US accounting team. You’ll also bridge our UK entities’ results into US GAAP for group reporting. You’ll report to the Director of Finance & Accounting.

In this role, you will:
Run month-end close and reporting
Run the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for the US entities, including the calendar, checklist, and sign-off
Own consolidation of the US entities and intercompany accounting
Review all balance sheet
